Reported Liverpool target Ivan Rakitic has suggested he could be open to a move away from Sevilla in January.
The Croatia international has 18 months left on his current deal with Sevilla, who are keen to tie Rakitic down to a new contract.
However, the Spanish side may be open to a January sale if it becomes clear that the 25-year-old will not agree new terms and Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has been credited with an interest.
Rakitic has now indicated he could be open to a move but plans to hold talks regarding his future with Sevilla before making a decision.
Now, news does not exist about my future," he told SFC.
"I have returned from my holidays and during these dates I did not use the phone. I will attend a meeting with the Sevilla directors and speak with calm.
"After, I will decide the best option for me in all senses."
If Liverpool do decide to make a move for Rakitic they are likely to face competition for his signature as the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and French outfit Paris Saint-Germain have all been linked with the midfielder.
