Liverpool are again being linked with a move for Newcastle striker Demba Ba, who will be sold in January, according to reports.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is not alone in his desire to sign the Senegal international as Arsenal are also very keen and, at a knockdown £7m due to a clause in his contract, there may be other interested parties.
Liverpool have also been linked with Marseille hitman Loic Remy, as well as Schalke striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, but Ba represents the best value for money, although his reported wage demands of £80,000 a week may pose a problem.
