Blackpool's Michael Appleton praised Tom Ince for his attitude amid rumours of a move to Liverpool but says there has been no new bid.
The Tangerines lost 2-1 at home to Wolves at Bloomfield Road on Friday evening, though Ince put in another fine individual display.
He was the subject of a bid from former club Liverpool on Thursday, but the offer was dismissed by the Championship outfit.
Amid reports of a further offer from Brendan Rodgers' men Appleton was asked after the game whether he knew of any bid, saying: "No, not that I'm aware of."
Speaking of Ince's display, he added: "It was important for him and he's got to show a strength of character now to suggest that, with everything going on, all he wants to do is play football and play well for Blackpool Football Club."
