Liverpool look set to follow up their interest in Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Emre Can with a £10million offer for the youngster.
The Germany U21 international is a left-footed midfielder who can operate on either side of the pitch and he has been on Liverpool's radar for the past two years ever since they spotted him in a tournament in Mexico.
