Daniel Agger has handed Liverpool a boost by insisting he sees his future at the club now he is playing again under Kenny Dalglish.
Defender Agger appeared set to quit the Reds when he was ignored by previous boss Roy Hodgson, and was linked with a move to Juventus.
But now the Danish international is happy after being recalled by new boss Dalglish and can see himself staying at Anfield long-term.
"I see my future at Liverpool for sure," he said. "I have three years left on my contract so if that's long-term then definitely! I'm happy here."
Agger's prospects have been boosted by Dalglish's decision to play with three centre-backs in some games.
"I think I've done well alongside Jamie Carragher, Martin Skrtel and also Kyrgiakos. We've played some really good games with three at the back and there is now great competition in defence.
"There's a new atmosphere at Liverpool under Kenny Dalglish and he's been the key. It's a good place to be now."
