Real Madrid legend Raul could follow Michel Salgado to England in search of a Premier League swansong, according to his agent.
The player has been linked with a move to Liverpool and Chelsea in the past and a switch to England has not been ruled out.
Former team-mate Salgado joined Sam Allardyce's Blackburn Rovers back in September last year.
Spain's all-time top scorer has struggled for game-time this season with competition from Cristiano Ronaldo, Karem Benzema and Kaka proving too much for the 32-year-old.
Agent Gines Carvajal said: "It is no secret that he has always liked the Premier League. The only formal offer the club ever received for him came from Chelsea at the time when they signed Makalele.
"Raul's contract runs until 2011 and at the moment he plans to see it out but it is a long season and we will have to see what happens."
