Boyhood Evertonian, TNS manager Kenny McKenna has a special incentive to try and beat Liverpool in the Champions League so his team can face his heroes in the third qualifying round.
Former Tranmere Rovers striker McKenna is a big Everton fan and cheekily taunted the Reds when he said: "I'd have preferred to get someone a little bit easier so we could still be in when the big clubs like Everton come in, in the third round!"
I think we can put those comments down to scouse humour but McKenna says this is a real fairytale tie for TNS.
McKenna said: "You couldn't write a story like this, a village team from Wales playing the European champions.
"All our injured players could suddenly walk and sprinted out of the physio room as soon as the draw was made! We're all over the moon.
"We've been running along the Mersey and looking over to Liverpool thinking it would be great to get them, so there's a bit of irony about it all. It's definitely got a nice feel to it."
