Barcelona coach Carles Rexach tonight confirmed that Rivaldo will definitely play on Tuesday night but admitted that Michael Owen is a major threat to his side's Champions League hopes.
Asked whether Rivaldo was fit to face Liverpool, Rexach admitted he was and insisted he will play from the start but refused to be drawn on the other 10 players who will start alongside the South American ace.
When questioned about Michael Owen at Anfield tonight, the Barcelona coach said: "Michael Owen is a fantastic player and we know all about just how good he is. He has such great skill and ability that even if he doesn't play particularly well, he can still score the goals that can change a game. We have watched videos of Liverpool versus Manchester United and we have learned a lot from them.
"Liverpool are a very strong team and the fact that they won five trophies in six months says a lot about their ability. We have come here to win though and I believe 10 points from this group will be enough to qualify to the next stage."
