Emiliano Insua played 90 minutes as Argentina opened their South America U20 Championships campaign with a 1-1 draw against hosts Venezuela in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Next up for the 20-year-old, who is expected to be away for a month, is another Group A clash with Peru on Friday.
