50 up for striker?

David Ngog could play the 50th game of his Liverpool career in all competitions if he's involved at Birmingham City on Sunday.

Here are 20 more fascinating pre-match facts as we build-up to the 3pm kick-off at St Andrews.

1. Each of the last five fixtures between the clubs home and away have ended in draws - the only time this has happened in 97 league meetings.

2. Liverpool have not beaten City in any of the last seven league games - their worst run since 1931.

3. The Reds last win at St Andrews in the league came in May 2004 - Gerard Houllier's last season in charge - when Michael Owen, Emile Heskey and Steven Gerrard scored in a 3-0 win.

4. However, they won twice at Birmingham in 2006 in Cup competitions - a 7-0 F.A. Cup Quarter Final win in the March and 1-0 in the League Cup eight months later.

5. Liverpool's biggest wins at St Andrews came in September 1978 and May 2004 when they won 3-0.

6. In the Premier League, Liverpool have won only two of the 11 meetings, drawing six and losing three.

7. At St Andrews the Reds have won one of the last five league visits and two of the last eight.
