Istvan Kozma had impressed Graeme Souness as a player with Dunfermilne in Scotland when the Reds boss was in charge of Rangers.
His most famous game in a red shirt came against Chesterfield in a League Cup tie at Anfield. He came on as a second half substitute to help the Reds escape a potential embarassment when he inspired a 4-4 comeback.
However, he did not play enough games to be granted a work permit and returned to Hungary after only two seasons at Liverpool.
