Danny Williams is another youth product that left the club without making an appearance for the first team. He was only once on the bench in the Premier League game versus Derby in May 1998. Williams moved to Wrexham in March 1999 and played 46 games for Wrexham before Bryan Flynn released him to Kidderminster in June 2001. The midfield hardman made 117 appearances for Kidderminster before joining Bristol Rovers in March 2004 and then rejoining Wrexham where he is still playing regularly.
