One of the men who represented the club during their inaugural season in the Football League, the Second Division campaign of 1893-94. Worgan only played once during this championship-winning season but scored two goals on his debut at home to Burton Swifts on 3rd March 1894. Only one additional first-team appearance is recorded for this player - in a home First Division clash with Sheffield United on October 6, 1894.
