Now you can go behind the scenes at Anfield Stadium, one of the world’s most iconic and historic stadiums.

During the new LFC Stadium Tour, you will:

  • Enjoy epic views of the pitch and city landscape from the top level of the Main Stand.
  • Visit the new state-of-the-art Home and Away Team dressing rooms.
  • Practice your interview technique in the new Press Room.
  • Touch the infamous This Is Anfield sign.
  • Take a spine-tingled walk down the new Players' Tunnel.
  • The Tour has been written by lifelong LFC fans and writers, Dave Kirby and Nicky Allt, with narration by actor, David Morrissey.

    Take your tour at your own pace

    Use the multimedia audio handsets throughout your visit to fully immerse yourself and take the tour at your own pace.

    The Stadium Tours is available in 9 languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese Mandarin, Arabic, Thai and Indonesian. British Sign Language is also available. 

    Our friendly and knowledgeable tour guides will also be available throughout your tour to answer any questions you may have.

    Enjoy brand new highlights

    The new Stadium Tour features many new highlights.

    You will enjoy epic views of the pitch and city landscape from the top level of the Main Stand. Use your handset’s technology here to see and hear for yourself Anfield’s infamous matchday atmosphere.  

    See where your heroes prepare for the big game in the new state-of-the-art Home Team Dressing Room. Sit in your favourite player’s seat and watch exclusive videos about each player using your handset.

    Discover which former player and LFC Legend reveals his best opposition team when you visit the new Away Team Dressing Room.

    Take part in a lively and interactive press conference with your tour guide in the new Press Room.

    Touch the This is Anfield sign before walking down the new Player’s Tunnel to the sound of the Anfield roar.

    Take your seat in the Manager’s Dugout and then finish your tour in The Kop.

    During the Matchday Tour, you will:

    • See areas where only players and VIP guests can visit
    • Stop by the press and media areas.
    • Touch the infamous This Is Anfield sign.
    • Take a spine-tingled walk down the new Players' Tunnel.
    • Get the chance for a photo in Klopp’s seat.  
    • Enjoy more photo opportunities of the pitch and Main Stand from The Kop.

    This tour does not include the Home or Away Team dressing rooms or Press Room. This is because we need full access to prepare these areas for the game. This tour does not include a match ticket. 


    Enjoy brand new highlights

    Soak up the pre-match atmosphere before one of LFC’s home games on a Matchday Tour. See areas of the expanded Main Stand usually available for players and VIP guests.

    Stop by the press and media areas where the First Team and Klopp will reflect on the result after the match. Touch the infamous This Is Anfield sign before taking a spine-tingling walk down the new Player’s Tunnel.

    Look out across the pitch where Klopp himself will be watching the game unfold just hours after you. Take photos of the pitch from the glorious Kop and the impressive Main Stand.

    At each stage of your tour you will get expert insight into the Stadium and Club from one of our experienced tour guides. You will also have the opportunity to take your own photographs and ask any questions you may have.

    This tour also includes entrance into The Liverpool FC Story, the Club's interactive museum which is proud to be showcasing The Steven Gerrard Collection - an exhibition highlighting never seen before memorabilia from Steven's very own personal collection.

    To enhance your experience in the museum, every visitor is provided with a multimedia handset.

    The handsets feature personalised commentary by Phil Thompson who shares his experience of being a fan, player, captain, assistant manager and manager of the world's greatest football family.

    This state of the art device brings the Reds illustrious history to life whilst we also feature unique and never seen before displays which combine the history of LFC alongside its modern day stars.

    Meet one of Liverpool FC’s legendary ex-players for an entertaining and insightful Q&A, followed by a chance for photos and autographs.

    During the Legends Q&A, you will:

    • Enjoy an exclusive Q&A where you’ll hear about your Legend’s personal memories of playing for the Club.
    • Get the chance to ask them any questions you have.
    • Meet them for photos and autographs.
    • Go on the new LFC Stadium Tour
    • Visit The Liverpool FC Story, the Club’s interactive museum, and The Steven Gerrard Collection exhibition.

     

    The ideal gift for an a lifelong Red

    Hear personal memories, dressing room tales and funny anecdotes of what it was like to play for the Club from your chosen Legend during a lively and entertaining Q&A session.

    You’ll get the chance to ask them questions, get photos and autographs too – a special day and ideal gift for any fan. The Q&A lasts approx. 60 minutes.

    You’ll also go on the new LFC Stadium Tour. The new tour features many new highlights including epic city views from the highest level of the Main Stand, the new Home and Away Team dressing rooms, the new Press Room, This Is Anfield Sign, the new Players’ Tunnel, Manager’s Dugout and The Kop.

    You’ll use multimedia audio handsets to fully immerse yourself in your tour. This means you can take your take your time to enjoy your tour at your own pace. We’d recommend between 1 to 3 hours for your tour, however the average visitor takes 1.5 hours.  

    Our friendly and knowledgeable tour guides will also be available throughout your tour to answer any questions you may have.

    Don’t miss your chance to meet LFC’s official Club mascot and number one fan, Mighty Red!

    Throughout the season, Mighty Red will be making special appearances on selected dates:

    • Tuesday 24th October 2017
    • Halloween – Sunday 29th October 2017
    • Sunday 12th November 2017
    • Christmas – Saturday 23rd December 2017

    The appearances will take place at 11.30pm, 1pm and 2.30pm on the Level 2 Concourse for all dates.

    How to book:

    To book, click the BOOK NOW button and find the date you’d like to visit. We’d recommend booking the nearest time slot available to an appearance – for example, if you would like to meet Mighty Red at 11.30pm then book The New LFC Stadium Tour 11.00 – 13.00 time slot.

    Please allow a 30 minute approx. walk from the start of your tour to the Level 2 Concourse.

    If you don't want to take a tour, you can enjoy our interactive museum at your own pace. 

    Don't miss our brand new exhibition, The Steven Gerrard Collection. The former captain has exclusively donated his personal collection of footballing memorabilia for his fans to enjoy. See for yourself Steven's match-worn LFC and England shirts, signed opposition shirts, medals, trophies and awards, England caps and match items from Istanbul 2005. Plus, there's more items beautifully displayed in the Boot Room Sports Cafe. 

    More from the museum

    You'll explore football through amazing exhibitions such as the Halls of Fame, a dedication to LFC heroes, past and present, and see the silverware, including all five European Trophies, won by LFC during its impressive career. 

    To enhance your visit, every visitor is provided with a multimedia handset which offers a personalised 40 minute commentary by LFC Legend, Phil Thompson, who shares his experiences of starting off as a fan right through to being the Club's manager. 

    For your younger fans, there's low-level fascinating facts from official Club mascot, Mighty Red, and interactive activities on the handset including a penalty shoot out game at the European Cup final.

    Please note: last entrance into the Museum on non-matchdays is 4pm. On matchdays, last admission is 1 hour before kick-off. For matches with 12.30pm, 12.45pm and 1.00pm kick-off’s, the museum will re-open after the game until 4pm.
